Sleeping two or three hours every four hours basically bypasses sleep inertia. But you gotta get into the habit of sleeping that way to feel it's full effects.

Oh I do. Every night (except on the weekends when I sleep longer than 8 hours). It's good & bad.

It has to do with timing it to wake up right after you get your REM sleep and before you start your next sleep cycle
