Someone on my campus was ranting about gay rights in our school. It was absurd. I go to ODU, where we have a very prominent LGBT club and even optional rooms within one of the dorms that LGBT kids can request so that they can stay in a safe, like-minded community called Lavender House, which some gay students asked for. And the kid was requesting its removal because they likened it to segregation. I went off on him in front of him and everyone else there. Gay students aren't required to reveal their sexual preference here, and no one is required to stay in Lavender. I was so goddamn mad. It's people that don't understand what it meant to crusade as a prominent gay that say these things. We can't do anything to sway the courts decision by being loud on the internet, and when we scream and reverse-gay bash, we do no justice to the gay community. Gay couples shouldn't be put on the forefront of the public consciousness as inspirations. They're just people. Sometimes we forget that we can alienate people by holding them in high esteem, too. I know Civil Rights in the past was a true crusade, but the times are different. We've proven we can be open to change, and pushing for gay rights was a matter of timing more than persistence.

I'm really bored of this joke. It's just the internet having basic knowledge of subjects and regurgitating it. Throw a Jason Todd joke in there at least. Or comment on the fact that his son just died.

I never said they should have been the same, they just lacked what makes Star Wars what it is. The whole trilogy just went out of its way to destroy the wonderment in the franchise. George Lucas has his retarded urge to always want to show his primary characters as children, which is just horribly horribly pointless.

It would have been good if it didn't call itself Star Wars. Aside from the fact that there Jedis, it really wasn't a grouping of "Star Wars" flicks. We can hold him as the holy creator of the franchise, but the truth is, George Lucas doesn't know what makes Star Wars what it is. He had no idea what he was doing when he created the original films and the universe we fell in love with was the product of our own imaginations and the fanbase. The writing kinda blew, though, too.

Someone missed the joke.

The Eds were forced to behave the way they did because they were shunned by society and outcasts. Their wacky adventures were so they could relish the brief interactions they had with other people. They strove for money and jawbreakers because they secretly hoped to make everyone jealous and force them to like them. Then the "Big Picture Show" pretty much confirmed this before they reformed their ways and truly became friends with the other children. The guys from Workaholics are really just idiots and selfish sociopaths.

In case anyone is put off by this, Troy (Played by Donald Glover there, a.k.a. Childish Gambino) keeps a cigarette case full of candy cigarettes.

I'm gonna upvote this on the idea that her character in Sex and the City was addicted to shoe shopping, not for the beat joke about her being a horseface.

He wouldn't have been killed. Scar never told the Pride that it was Simba's fault. In no way would anyone ever believe that. Especially after he ran the Pridelands into a post-apocalyptic nightmare. Simba would have been fine, he was just forced to live with guilt because he was an idiotm and he deserved it for being a little insubordinate shit in the beginning of the movie with a Napoleon complex and a false sense of entitlement. Timon and Pumba openly say they only kept him around because the Lion was of use to them. They expressly only kept Simba around so predators would not approach them, which is perfectly exemplified when Nala returns. They then try to convince Simba to NOT redeem himself and proceed to do really nothing in the end, only following Simba to ensure they still have their protector.

"Hakuna Matata, it means no worries, for the REST OF YOUR DAYS". The entire emphasis is the fact that this is your only life and you're going to die. It's just fuck it. They're irresponsible existentialists.

Timon and Pumba are villains. They're representative of the teenage pit trap that is apathy. Hakuna Matata basically means "Fuck it, you're gonna die anyway". They're the originators of YOLO. Fuck them.

I'd watch the shit out of some Japanese Baywatch.

Except serpents exist independently. Lucifer has powers of creation. Holiness is not a concept exclusive to Christianity. And even in Christianity, there are constructs of God that are deemed less than reputable or unholy because of ancient standards of cleanliness still shared by Judaism and Islam, including bot not limited to pigs and certain poultry. In Christianity there are "unholy" creations sent to Earth for the purpose of testing our wills, such as drugs. Go away now.

Ray Lewis has become an icon because of his tumultuous life and career, and I love him to death, but Fletcher really does put up better numbers consistently and has been in the League longer.
