Believing is seeing.

so no reason to believe you have a heart or brain, since you haven't seen it for yourself.

This argument makes no sense, I have seen everyone else's heart and brain. Also, if I wanted to, and had enough money, I could pay someone to open my skull and show me. I do however, understand why you personally might wonder whether or not you have a brain.

There is no way that any person can stay awake while there skull or chest is open to such a level as to be able to see such things.

So, you have a surgeon do so, and he tells you you have a heart/brain, you still have to have a level of "blind faith" in him, since the only proof you ultimately have is his word.

but she still didn't SEE her own brain... so you haven't proven what I said wrong. (look closely at the "to be able to see such things" clause, this is in reference to the self.)

Awake brain surgery is a type of procedure performed while you're awake to treat some brain (neurological) conditions, including some brain tumors or epileptic seizures. If your tumor or seizure center (epilepsy focus) is near the parts of your brain that control movement or speech, you may be awake during surgery to respond to your surgeon. Your responses help your surgeon ensure that he or she treats the precise area of your brain needing surgery. In addition, the procedure lowers the risk of damage to functional areas of your brain.

My uncle actually watched the surgery through a mirror when he had the cancer removed from his brain.

also they can have a camera hooked up to a screen and show you if you REALLY wanna see it.

youre pretty dumb. especially since everyone can get concussions, which is when your BRAIN shifts inside your head.

But you can see another person's brain and infer that yours is similar. There is no proof of god whatsoever (although there is plenty of proof that the god of insert-religious-text-here does not exist).

You should go to the doctor, I have to assume you are broken given your current level of ignorance and complete disregard for the facts presented. You can believe whatever you want, and who knows, I may or may not exist. All I'm saying is that telling me I can't see my brain and have to rely on faith to hope it's there is some of the dumbest shit I've ever heard.

simply put MOST people don't ever see their own brain in there life, but are willing to believe it's there.

even though I disagree with you, I don't have to resort to calling a person stupid.

God |

That's because I'm not being stupid. Also, I've seen an extremely large gamut of evidence supporting brain existence. These arguments are not analogous, no matter how many times you say it.

You're playing off that one awful fake story about a student "owning" their teacher who plays off not being able to see God, so he says well you can't see you're brain. Its clearly a story written by those of faith because it holds no water in reality. A CT scan will show you your brain, Doctors have to keep you awake while they are in fact looking at your brain, and med students get to see peoples' brains all the time. Point is one still requires "blind" faith, you have nothing solid to go on, just a story your parents brainwashed you into believing when you were a child. Science and Medicine ask to to believe absolutely nothing they can't prove.

to simplify.

every choice you make is either A or B. shoes or sandals? left or right? study or lolbrary? These choices dictate the course of your life. If you make 100 choices a day, the odds of you choosing a certain path that day are 1/(2^100). The exact path you choose on any given day happens to lead you to meet your future husband/wife.

Next. You were a product of your parents choices through life, and them a product of their parents choices, all the way back through history. All that being said, the probability of you reading this comment is 1/infinity.

Can you show that we actually make choices? What if we simply have the guise of free will, but the future is already determined?

Throwing this out there. This is fake. The "You suck" quite obviously layed over the original. The person probably said something completely amiable and left the conversation. Thank you.

Dead sea scrolls tell of a man that will be born and will die for all humanity about 1 thousand years before it happens.... Not only that Noahs Ark has been found in Ararat, so umm there is animate proof

We do have recorded evidence of dozens of people in Romes outer provinces playing on multiple religions savior myths. Which one do you think the scrolls meant? And it's kinda funny how it all fits so comfortably into the mold of many of the old seasonal gods, isn't it? How do you know it's Noah's boat, btw? Could it not also be the boat of Utnapishtim the Faraway?
