I hate these tire covers when they're on nice off-road vehicles that the owners never take off-road because they spent $40,000 on it from the dealer.
I just don't get that.
Why buy an off-road vehicle if you're not gonna use it for it's intended purpose? So stupid.
Mostly they are trying to look cool or are over compensating for something, or they are just huge douchebags
Or maybe they just like the look of them better than a car. Or maybe, like me, they need a vehicle that has some height to it so that a loved one can get in without having to bend down low to get in a regular car (not to mention getting out of a low car on bad knees).
Also, Jeep Wranglers start under $22k which is still cheaper than a ton of cars.
There's a difference between just having a truck or a vehicle that can go offroading, but to buy a truck jack it up and put mudders on it without taking it offroading is just douchey
The jeep in the picture looks bone stock apart from the spare tire cover so I'm sure that guy just has that for shits and giggles but there's a lot of people that put thousands of dollars into making the biggest truck they can possibly have and then they keep it sparkling clean, blows my mind
I don't get it either. Like Swarley said, they are likely compensating for something. I'm good with my little car.
you guys are crazy. i love my wrangler because i live in arizona and take the top off and the doors off and drive around in a cool convertible 8 months out of the year. it's fun.. it's way better than a convertible car. in fact, there's no other vehicle i'd rather drive. just because i'm not some off-roading redneck, i'm automatically compensating for something?
Euhm... Why not let people just roll in whatever kind of car they want? Too much hating in here. I like the joke though.
I NEED one of these! O.O
