Overly Obsessed Joker Girlfriend

This is the genderbent Joker. I see a couple of them at every con (as well as genderbent Riddlers)

I just don't understand why the Jokers don't just do Harley. Intentionally or not, they are wearing exactly the same thing Harley does in one thing or another so...

I'm inclined to disagree.

Why?

I don't see the need, for the first thing, not when there are so many designs out there and usually there is a female character like that anyway.

Also, I don't think genderbending the character makes them more interesting. I'm more interested in a fantastic Joker cosplay than I would be in a fantastic FemJoker cosplay. To me, it just says the person wasn't bothered to bind her chest.

Also, with the Joker's in particular it's not like they've got a lot of originality to the new design. It's just Harley's outfits in purple and green.

EDIT: I'm not saying you don't get interesting genderbent designs, I just don't see the point to some when there is already a female equivalent. Like, I understand why girl genderbend Riddler to do his spandex outfit; no matter how good you are, a girl can never hide her curves to do that outfit.

I've just not seen an interesting femJoker as of yet which hasn't just been a recolour of Harley Quinn's.

Maybe they want to go with the non sexualized version. I can't imagine doing Harley without trying to be sexy, whereas, there isn't much sexy to Joker.

But they're essentially doing a sexy female Joker, in Harley's outfits... So they're still doing sexy...

And the original Harley wasn't overly sexy, and, although her new outfits are on the sexy side, her personality is still more cute ditz than sexy.

Because Harley would do something like this 0_0 She's crazier than the Joker.

That's debatable.
