I suppose it is, since after the Korean War we've been subsidizing their economy with FREE FOOD. This post is effing ridiculous.
The free food isn't subsidizing for their economy, it's subsidizing for their lack of food. Which America caused anyway from the trade blockades.

NK is a military threat to the United States. They're the new Russia, a dictatorship that doesn't like us. We can't defend freedom from the bottom of a radioactive crater.
North Korea. Has attacked our ally, South Korea, on multiple occasions, Threatened to attack Hawaii, And it's leadership is not mentally stable enough to own Nuclear arms. Weather you like it or not, North Korea is a threat, and needs to be dealt with one way or another.
The "threats" against Hawaii were only rumors. They could not be proved fact or fiction at the time. Since it has passed July 4th, I think it is clear to say those rumors were untrue.
South Korea and North Korea have been at war since 1950, threats go back and forth.
How can you say they're mentally unstable with no proof of this?
We can let ourselves have nukes because we're one of the last half-sane nations in the world. In North Korea they have to believe that the current dictator is (literally) god. Does that sound like a country that we should let have the capacity to destroy the world? It's not unlike Iran in many ways.

I've actually not been on LoLbrary for some time. I think North Korea is a country trying to set-up what's best for it's people, while still dealing with imperial aggression from the United Nations.

Did you not hear about the reporter from last year? who was on a tour of North Korea, The tour guide left the zone he was supposed to stay in, and everywhere they looked people were starving, Police were beating people, and Kim Stuffs-his-face had the driver executed about a month later.

Think about it, they took a bunch of reporters with cameras into the "bad" sections of NK and no pictures arise. It even says in the article that the reporters were taking pictures during this.
Go on google earth and find this "bad" area, Technology is great.

So just because there is no street views automatically means they're hiding something? Plus you still have the above view images. Go scroll outside of Pyongyang and look. According to the claims you made, anything outside Pyongyang is the "real" NK because they only let tourist in Pyongyang. It can't be to far from the city from you claims, seeing as a tour driver made one wrong turn and was in the "bad" section of NK.
False, I said the Heart of Pyongyang, Chances are many parts of the City are just as poor and run down, which is probably where the Drivers went. The nation is poor, they need food from other countries to keep people alive, Look at all of those pictures from the Huffpo link, Notice that 9/10 of the people are not smiling, and most even look miserable?

I don't think the people of North Korea can really even be considered our enemies. They have no sight of the truth. It's their government that is the issue, we need to have compassion for a people controlled and forced into poverty by their own government with no way out. Just like the same poverous people in our own country.
