You know, the CEO of Chick-fil-A was asked about the company's position in an interview. He answered the question honestly. What is so wrong with that? You liberals are killing free speech with your PC bullshit.

Liberals are supposedly so tolerant of different people, but this only seems to be true as long as one's beliefs match their agenda.

Chic-fil-A financially supports organizations that would rather I didn't have the same rights as them.

Fortunately, I'm naturally drawn to ethical businesses, so I don't have to boycott anyone I would like to patronize.

I am not sure where anyone told him he isn't allow to do that, or believe what he does. But hey, that's what he did. We just called him out on it.

Could it be that it's because Chick-fil-A supports groups with Anti-Gay agendas by donating/funding them; groups that are taking action to squelch and deny the freedoms of a certain group of people? Sure they have every right to express their beliefs. That is free speech. But it's also free speech to openly disagree with them. It goes both ways. I don't see anywhere were people are calling for Chick-fil-A to quiet or renounce their position.

Free speech also dictates that it is perfectly acceptable to express the distaste for people who support the restriction of another person's rights.

i completely agree with you on this. its such bullshit that a simple statement such as "i support traditional marriage" turned into all these theories that they hate gays and such. i personally dont support gay marriage but at the same time i could care less what gays do just as long as they keep me out of it. but in their mind they want everyone else to believe what they do.

If you are truly interested in understanding why people are upset and boycotting, please read this thoroughly. It is a very clear and unbiased presentation of the groups that receive financial support from Chick-fil-a.

The CEO has every right to support whatever group he wants. He had every right to say what he said BUT if hes doing it with the consumers money earned at Chick-fil-a that's where it becomes a problem. I support equal rights and knowing that my money is going to hate groups and organizations that are opposed to same sex marriage is wrong. It goes against what I believe in. I refuse to have my money go to those groups hence why I'm no longer eating there.

There is a huge difference between peaceful groups who aren't into the whole gay thing, and the Westbro Baptist Church, which are a bunch of shit-tard dick fucks.

The thing, just because the organizations supported by the Cathy's and their company don't carry signs with slurs on them doesn't mean they're peaceful and not, in your words, "shit-tard dick fucks." I don't care if you picket soldiers funerals or wear suits and go to government functions to lobby. If you provide moral and financial support to organizations who push to keep homosexuality illegal in countries where it's a crime and browbeat homosexuals in more open countries into self-hatred, you're a bad person.
