False: You should use that name, I like it. Robin.

But did anyone not see that he was robin the whole time?

Nolan didn't have to acknowledge it in such a badass fashion though.

True.

But that one line completely sums up the entire trilogy

Yeah, wow... this pr stunt by Bale was so heart-warming. I bet his manager put him up to it.

I don't know man...I like to think the call for it on the social media sites is what set him to do it. Warner Bros. denied that he was acting on their behalf. I guess I'm just a glass half full kind of guy haha.

Maybe, but I don't think doing it because of peer pressure makes it any more sincere. You're right. I'm probably just being cynical.

edit - But then again, Christian Bale is one of those evil 1%-ers. He's rich and successful. GET HIM!!

No, wait... we only do that if he's a rich and successful CEO. My mistake.

Really think you are off on this one my friend. Regardless if it was a PR stunt, that isn't the point. He made the victims feel a little bit better, that was the point. Roll your eyes all you want, he was in a position to make people in need feel happy and made the most of the opportunity.

Sort of like when companies donate money to charity. It helps their brand look good, but it also helps people in need, so who cares even if they are just doing it to "look good."

I think you're being overly cynical with this one. Bale is known for being a hothead, but I've never heard that he is a bad guy from anyone before.

People need to ease up on the pendulum from 'no faith in humanity' to 'faith restored'...People are both good and bad all the time
