I think it qualifies. Racial stereotypes, whether humorous or serious, whether positive or negative, could all be labelled as racist.

This is the way I look at it:

Racism: Hatred/dislike OR feeling superior to people of a different race.

Can exist together but not mutually inclusive.

This post I would label as a stereotype.

A positive stereotype which doesn't fit the requirements for racism.

I may be wrong, I'll consider it, but it's just the way I think about it.
