We get it, "'Murica", thank you for making sure that the joke is officially more annoying than funny.

We had fireworks before you even existed, we have fantastic birds of prey, the Statue of Liberty was made by the French, you wouldn't have guns or tanks had it not been for the British, and those bikinis? Here's this and this.

I fail to be impressed.

EDIT: Original first link didn't work - it was a busty girl in a Union Jack bikini lying in the sea.

No-one can beat John Luke Piccard.

Unless Morgan Freeman decides to become captain of the Enterprise.

But he's not, so no-one can beat John Luke Piccard.

Probably, I last watched Star Trek when I was 13, and didn't have anything to look up his name.

Let me tell you something about America: Other countries can make as much fun of us as they want. But we've gone through a civil war that tore apart the country. We fought back the British army. We've supported numerous countries in numerous wars, most ending in our side's victory. And btw Nixie, tell me, would you have that valuable reputation to uphold if we hadn't helped you in WW2? Thought so. America FTW.

Oh and we haven't sunk under the weight of the numerous obese people (no offense of course) in our countries. We've taken numerous poundings and are still f**king standing. Take that England, Canada, France, etc.

Sure we have our faults, but hey, we have more ups.

First; Many countries have civil war, and still do (North/South Korea? They were one country, once upon a time). Also, the UK is made up of four countries, and the Irish and the French are also close by. We've been in war (civil and non-civil) before the USA even existed. We've been invaded and in war more times than an American has eaten a burger, and we're still standing. The same goes for France and the rest of Europe, and Asia, for that matter. US is a new country, without the amount of war experience as the rest of the World.

On top of that, we had the biggest Empire to date, and will probably be the biggest one ever (this is due to how many Super Powers there are now). Our peak lasted for centuries.

Also, the US got involved in WW2 for two reason; revenge for Pearl Harbour and to disintegrate the British Empire. The British fought in WW2 (and One) to help save lives. US had selfish reasons.

AND THEN: the US is founded on the extermination of one race and the slavery of another.

And they can't seem to accept that much. A lot of America's dark history was swept under the rug, whilst the British are open to admit the shit they've done.

So yeah, your points are invalid.

Actually, that was one of the reasons. The US refused to give the UK help until they agreed to disintegrate the majority of the British Empire.

To be fair, it kinda needed to be. We had no money - cause of the war - and were holding on to it for "all time sakes" even though it was a massive drain on our resources and also a bad thing for those countries too.

So really, the US did a favour there. And, at the time, the US and UK weren't that good of friends. Old scars and such.

No. Not trying to get rid of the British. Trying to get rid of the British Empire. It made us stronger (technically) than the US, which is bad for the US.

Sigh Alright I looked it up and you're right and I apologize for my childish reaction. But still, the US may have its downs but it's still a great country overall.

We learn a lot about the history of WW2.

BTW, I'm not saying it's a bad thing at all, it needed to happen.

Personally, I wouldn't want to live in the US. I'd just end up rather angry with the amount of ignorant/naive people (I'm not talking about you, btw, just in general) and I don't really like US politics.

I'd like to live in Australia, politics wise, but wouldn't cope with the climate.

Yeah, I don't like British people too much either. Some of them are just retarded and they piss me off.

Lol at least we agree that most Americans are dumbasses, and that the politics here has dug its own grave with stupidity.

Not really the US citizens fault. If you want to learn anything negative about the US, or anything about other countries in general, you have to look it up yourself. Your educational system is atrocious (from what I've heard from other US peeps, anyway) so you're kinda screwed from the start.

That's because no one gives a shit about teachers so their pays are lower than they should be. They're teaching our kids fundamental principles for life people, GIVE A SHIT! xD
