I don't get it... can someone not retarded like me please explain?

I don't get it either... seems like it's waaaaay out of context, though the show is community... seen a few episodes of it, guess not... this.... one...

it's a backpack in a college classroom. the only thing inside it is a pillow. the episode is "cooperative calligraphy."

Annie, the cute brunette, was looking for a pen, and it turned into a bottle episode, in which they lock themselves in a room until they find the true culprit. They search Troy's, the black guy's, bag to find that he doesn't keep books, or any school materials for that matter, in his bag. Instead, he keeps a decoy pillow. It was a quick moment in the show and easy to overlook, but one of my favorites.

Love Community, but so baffled as to what's going on here that I can't possibly upvote. That first picture is the visual equivalent of incoherent.

since this is my first submission on here, some constructive criticism from those with more experience would be helpful...definitely better than all the negativity.

How bout explaining, so we can get the joke?

You need more context. I've seen the episode, and this is one of my favorite moments in the show's history. The first picture didn't make much sense, so that should probably be removed. Also, add a few more frames so people can understand that they were searching bags. I've also thought about posting things like this, but this moment had about 15 minutes of back story, which makes the moment hard to capture correctly.

It's just important to keep trying. Community is a great start, too. The show has plenty of great moments, many even in this episode. But be sure to avoid moments that require some back story, for many people here might not understand that Troy is an idiot and Jeff is a complete slacker that envies that he keeps a throw pillow in his bag to hide the fact that he hasn't bothered with books.
