sad... but mostly true...

You know, I'm really starting to get annoyed at the marriages = guys being unhappy. My Grandpa has been married to my granny for 60 years now, and if asked (away from granny) he'll tell you it's the best thing he's ever done.

If you look like that after being married, then clearly there is something wrong in your relationship or your health - don't blame marriage for your relationship short-comings. And if you don't want to get married, then don't.

Nixie! It's a joke. Don't take it so seriously. :-P

But when a joke gets repeated a billion times it just gets irritating.

Also, cause I recently comforted a friend who was really upset because she wants to get married but is worried about telling her long-term bf she does because he constants does the "not married/married = happy/sad" comparisons, and she doesn't want to ruin their relationship or make get married just to make her happy; basically, she wants them both to be happy to get married.

So yeah, do get a bit sick of it.

On a more positive note, doesn't the married lion look sorta cute? :)

Only reason married lion looks like that is because he was up all night with his wife getting laid but still had to get up early for work.
