A donkey punch is a strategic punch to a woman's sphincter so as to cause her to tense up and become tighter. It doesn't have the angry emotions behind it one needs.

I always thought a donkey punch was when : making love to woman in said 'doggy style' and making her head turn by calling her name. Once head is turned forcefully jam your fist into her face

I suppose it would be any punch that would cause the female to tense up and tighten whichever orifice you've entered. Generally, though, it is a punch to the butt.
