You know, for ages I've been wondering why you guys call him Waldo. I hadn't realised that here in the UK was the only place where they call him Wally.

Where's Wally!? That sounds so weird!! Wikipedia states that he is Walter in German, but I've never seen a "Wo ist Walter" book before.

I know, it sounds just as weird for me to hear him as Waldo. Turns out it's by a British illustrator so I'm guessing "Wally" gets bonus points for the original source?

Could be, unless he only illustrated and sold the concept to an American publisher?? Fact of the matter is, both Wally and Waldo are ridiculous names.

Yeah, maybe. True, plus in England you call someone a "wally" if they're being ridiculous. Also, get on Chatango, I'm feeling forever alone on there recently...

I so sorrrryyy I've been wanting to get on chatango again but I'm at my Mom's right now and want to go to bed soon. I also have the laryngitis. And no legs....... I ran out of lame excuses -.- I'm just a big ol' wally!
