This looks fucking delicious, but what did he do with that third steak?
He ate that shit. It was the only appropriate appetizer to this most manly sandwich of sandwiches.
I think when he said "then the other steak" he meant both. But I agree that the third could be eaten. Hell eat the third steak for lunch and let the sandwich sit a couple more hours for dinner.

How the hell isn't this thing a mess of soaked bread? What is your secret, sir!?
If you use really good crusty bread, the bread has enough substance not to completely fall apart. Also, a lot of the "juices" is just fat, so as the sandwich cools the fat reaches room temperature and solidifies (or at least turns more of a butter consistency). So no actual moisture.
That's what butter and margarine is. Solidified fat. DELICIOUS.
From meat it's lard though! Butter is from another process and margarine is vegetable fat.
But when it's all meaty and there's a huge layer of it (no doubt) or it's all soaked into the bread... Ewwwwwwww
I wasn't saying that the meat juices were butter--I was saying butter is a solidified fat. I'm not saying I'd want to eat a ton of fat, but from the picture, it doesn't look like there's a lot!
I know, but to me there is a lot of difference between butter and lard (in fact, in the UK we don't really have lard). They both may be solidified fats, but two completely different types
