Correction, Ash can catch more then 10 Pokemon, just non of the good ones.

It was pretty intense he never says anything and just looks at you with those tiny pixelated eyes. Like the Clint Eastwood of Pokemon.

Also red can combine the last stage of the 3 first starters to make a pokemon that can take on the fusion of the 3 legendary bird pokemon
