Only because they couldn't find a priest or a witness! If only i had a time machine i could actually prove they looked desperately for someone to marry them before they gave up and sinned to bring your ungrateful ass into this world!

Well if god meant for them to be married, maybe he would have put a priest and a witness there. I'm just saying there's some flaws in your theory.

Whoa now, god isn't perfect he overlooked a few things at first, everyone makes mistakes and its not like god has a time machine to go back and fix it.

God never intended on humanity to be smart enough to see through stuff like this, but then Eve ate that apple and we gained the ability to see his flaws, however god messed up AGAIN and didn't update his book he was trying to get published at the time.

God really wants someone to invent time travel so he can go back and fix stuff like that stupid apple tree.

To be fair, if God didn't want the metaphorical sh*t to hit the fan he shouldn't have put a big massive tree in the garden which they weren't allowed to eat from.

Amen sister! I asked my parents why he put that tree there when I was little, and they told me to stop asking dangerous questions! And so began my road to doubt...

I asked my teacher where God came from, and how come the Bible doesn't mention the solar system and the universe.

Actually A.)It's God, with a capital G, and B.) If your all powerful God really was an all powerful God, wouldn't He have the power to travel though-out time freely?

Is this why my comments got so many down votes? sarcasm people, i thought i laid it on pretty thick with the whole "god making mistakes as a omnipotent being" thing, but i guess there are people who took me as trying to seriously discuss god/religion on here.

Oh and god isn't his name so i refuse to capitalise it, i don't write Boss just because i don't know someone's name.

I mean no disrespect to anyone, I'm just copying and pasting.

14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, `I AM has sent me to you.'"

15 And God, furthermore, said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, `The Lord, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations."

God's personal name, as we translate its meaning in English, is "I am that I am." Here are some other ways it has been translated:

He who is

The self-existent one

He who is ever becoming what He is

Is-ness is is-ness

Lets be honest here, presuming God exists, the bible was not written by God, it was written, a re-written by Man, who will change things to suit his needs. Thus, concept of marriage, which is PURELY a human concept, would not be a concept God would be familiar with.

Which is one of my main beefs with religion, none of the holy texts were written by that particular religions god, it was by Man, writing to suit the wishes and society at the time so people would be scared into following rules or "they wont go to heaven" or heaven equivalent. They may be the "word of God" but "he" did not write it. It was word of mouth.

Not to mention we have roman historical documents in museums that show exactly when and by whom that religion was made up! It's all a matter of these people refusing to face facts. It's just very bad mental health, delusion. But like I picked up from another sound mind on the internet, arguing with religious people is like playing chess with a pigeon.

Theres a vip seat in Hell, waiting for you when you die. Your welcome anytime, remember that. Call us delusional if you wish to do so, we wont find it offensive because, We know its incorrect. But people like you are hopeless and devoid of life. Why cant a God exist? Spirits exist. Theres lots of evidence proofing Spirits exist too given by paranormal investigators, and Ghost Hunters.(They document it) I bet you, in your lifetime or less someone, somewhere, will prove a omnipotent, being like God exists. It'll be too late for you though. Why cant He/She exist? OH wait sorry, i forgot you were completely ignorant to anything you dont believe in whatsoever or dont want to believe in. Well whether you have faith or not, when you die, your going too find out the truth. And your not going to like it, one single bit.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iPIXq_jGMQ

God sees everything all the time. I know that God right now is watching some gay dude having sex.

It's Adam and Lilith btw. Long story short, she was created as Adam's equal, Adam wanted her to submit so she got pissed and fucked an arch-angel, then became a demon. Religion refuses to accept women as equals, therefore you don't see this in the bible any more. Oh and let's not forget that Lilith did what was right and chose to fend for herself rather than saying ''Yes Master'', that instantly, would turn a person with half a brain into an atheist.

Um thats wrong they were married, Genesis 3:16 "To the woman he said, 'in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your HUSBAND, an he shall rule over you.'" and in Genesis 3:17, "And to Adam he said, 'because you have listened to the voice of your WIFE,'" they were married, god was the priest jesus was the witness, an if you say jesus wasn't there THINK AGAIN, Genesis 1:26, "'Let us make man in OUR image, after our likeness.'' our meaning he was talking to Jesus.

I love how everyone is saying stuff like "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED!!!!11!!!" as if "God" told them him/her/itself.

Can we stop posting political/ religious/ anti/pro-gay material unless it is insanely funny, because all it does is start pointless arguments over faith/views.

Just as a side note, the removal of such arguments often requires a crane.
