Superficially, the problem is that belly buttons are a scar remaining from the detachment of the umbilical cord, and since Adam and Even were fully-formed in their adult form, they would have no trace of such a scar. So the answer is no.

Well, this painting definately wasnt made when adam and eve were formed. It is merely from the imagination of the artist believing what he thought adam and eve looked like. But dayum, that was a good explanation you had. It kept me staring at my belly button for a couple minutes... I will never look at my belly button the same way.
And the Bible wasn't written when adam and eve theoretically were formed. So it is merely the imagination of men believing that the story of adam and eve, that they made up, is the origin of man. :)
