My uncle still has nightmares from guerilla warfare. NOTHING prepares you for it, so I can't see how they can truly train you for it.

The only real training is to expect little logic... which is hard. That's part of what makes guerilla warfare so effective. It's hard to predict your adversary's next move when neither of you have any idea what he's doing.

They're not far from the truth.

He lost a lot of comrades in that type of warfare, but no-one remembers about it.
