Girls have this thing now where they like to roll their waist band to show as much skin as possible.
Actually it makes the waist band a bit tighter so the pants dont fall as much. I do it with my soccer shorts and pants
also if the elastic band is uncomfortable it helps with that too.
When I played volleyball, we rolled our shorts too. It has nothing to do with showing more leg/skin. We did it because the top of the shorts go past you belly button, and it is really uncomfortable to have shorts that high while playing a sport. Also, if you don't roll them, they sag between your legs and that's even more un-ladylike (if you're diving all over the floor) than showing a little more leg... if you know what I mean ;)

Well, the jerseys say "UConn," which is the University of Connecticut. There could be some prodigies in there, I suppose, but most likely they're all at least 18.
