Smoking is bad if you smoke bad stuff. Drinking is bad in excess. Fucking can lead to bad stuff if you don't protect yourself.

Not sure what you were reading, but it doesn't sound correct.

Smoke is not good for your lungs, regardless of what it is. Not saying I'm against it at all, just sayin...some things are worse than others obviously

Smoking cigars, you don't inhale, thus no lung damage.

The people I know who smoke cigars definitely inhale. And if I can get sick from second hand smoke then someone who has it lit, even if not inhaling on purpose, is still breathing it in. I'm not anti-smoking, but that kinda sounds like a "pulling out IS safe sex" style argument. :p

I agree--smoking is bad for you regardless how much you do it. Drinking is as well. Fucking on the other hand is circumstantial: does your playmate have cooties? does it result in an unintentional unwanted production of a small human? Did your playmate break your boner? you know...stuff like that.

The cigars I smoke can't really be inhaled. They're simply too powerful, and I'm not talking about Black & Milds or Swishers, but Comacho Triple Maduros and LDF Double Ligeros.

About 75% of those who smoke cigars don't inhale, either.

What about a pipe?

I believe so, though I haven't researched it, as I do not partake.

Neither do I, I was just curious - my Grandpa happily puffs away on his pipe.

He sounds like a cool guy. That and pipes are primarily aromatic, so it'll smell better for him to smoke.

Well...ok mr. smarty pants...does chewing on cigar smoke cause gum cancer? It's possible right? Missing half a jaw and what-not. I don't know buddy. No one out there is touting the health benefits of smoking cigars and exposing your body (any part of it) to that kind of toxin has GOT to be harmful. Reason all you like; I doubt you can get away with this one.

Blind doubt and blind faith are equally absurd.

Speaking of absurd, chewing smoke giving gum cancer? The fuck are you talking about?

Isn't the only way to gain the pleasure from the tobacco to inhale the smoke?

DeathDark |

No, it can enter your bloodstream via your saliva entering your stomach. It's slower, but cigars end up having more tobacco in them.

But smoking cigars isn't good for your mouth and gums. Any smoke causes damage, whether inhaled or not. Again, some things are worse than others..(I'm not anti-smoking)

Cigars only cause cancer if use a lot. Studies show that smoking 1-2 cigars a day provides no significant risk increase for anything.

Didn't know that but that sounds about right. More "pure" than cigarettes or cigarillos.

Most cigar smokers smoke hand-rolled cigars, which are made from aged tobacco leaves. These aren't highly processed, unlike machine made cigarettes and cigarillos, especially the cigarettes.

Is any one else worried that the second "I" in each sentence isn't capitalized? Just because you put a comma in the sentence doesn't mean that the "I" shouldn't be capitalized. #idiot
