Actually, if you attached the trunk of one elephant to the arse of the next, and repeat, as long as you had the one with the trunk free on the planet they'll all be able to breath.

actually they would die because the elephants with their trunks up other elephants butts wouldnt recieve oxygen. so the only thing that would happen is the last elephant with a trunk up its butt would just have an other elephants trunk up its butt. lol but it would be funny to see :)
