I thought it was pretty funny... I'm not sure the ol' America/oil joke will ever get old.
Agreed. My favorite part about the oil, is that from what I'm told there is more oil in the one of the Dakotas than in all of Saudi Arabia.
The only untapped U.S. oil I've heard of is in the ANWR reservation. It's not even that much (relatively).
Supposedly it is a recent find. Idk though, my professor was talking about it before class one day while we were hanging out.
Actually...a new way to make solar cells was just invented. As soon as this is implemented, solar power will replace a large portion of the energy supply. I think oil will be phased out sometime in the not too distant future. Kind of exciting.
We rely on oil far too much, where do you think plastics come from? Right now oil is far too important to be gone within the next 100-150 years.
It wont happen, too much money in oil right now, and money is how governments run.
I mean, Invisible Children has been on Kony for over 2 years, just now has it received any attention.
