Haha, I wish to know what the password was or how they broke into the interface, I know WEP and WPA can take no time at all to break into, we actually just did wifi-cracking today in class, which is a little ironic.
My guess is he had it set up with WEP.
Did you guys use aircrack?
Cracking WEP/WPA would only give the password to log onto the network, not the administrative one. The only thing I can think of is they had a really easy password on the administrative side.
Yes, we did. Downloaded the whole suite of tools and ran it in debian. Ubuntu didn't work because we couldn't switch channels, and everyone uses Backtrack. We're too cool for that shit.
*edit My apologies, you could sniff the password, but that would involve them logging on to check it, which I don't think they did.
Let's face it, it was probably set to the default password :P
