If you're Catholic, this is hypocritical, because it's saying that it's fine to be proud. Being proud is one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Actually, pride isn't considered bad, because the basic principles of working hard to earn your keep requires a pride in one's work. The Deadly Sin just refers to pride to the point of hubris.

My point is that this sign is like a penis. It's whipped out in public and being shoved down the throats of those who read it (including literate children). 2 sides to every coin.
