I dunno. I think this idiot would have exceeded the body count if the ship had actually sunk all the way instead of just tipping over. Plus, there was the issue of not enough lifeboats on the titanic, which was a management thing and not up to the captain.

Also The captain on the Titanic stayed on the boat and drowned before getting off before everyone else... Gotta give him that.

Still, you have to say that the Titanic got what was coming to it after it proclaimed itself "unsinkable". Talk about famous last words. Now, the British wouldn't be as arrogant like that again would they... oh wait. HMS Invincible... recently scrap metalled.
