fuck yeah, i'm doing this
um. does it have to be diet?
Yes it's the chemicals.
No it has nothing to do with the chemicals. It has to do with the many nucleation points on the candy surface of the mento. And that diet soda has lots of C02 to escape through the mento.
>nothing to do with the chemicals
>diet soda has lots of C02
we have ourselves a winner here...
OOOO I want to counter troll you soooo bad right now. BUT WAIT
C02 is only 1 CHemical!!! HAHA BLAM MOTHA FUCKA. and there is no reation occuring just CO2 being released from Liquid to air
Damn you and your thunder stealing capabilities
It's a bit of both... and yes I'm quoting mythbusters damnit.
Left to right: Perrier, Classic Coke, Sprite, Diet Coke. All of them are carbonated, but Diet Coke's high level of aspartame contributes to the much higher level of foam formation.
If you've never done this, place like 5 mentos into a rolled up tube of paper and insert them into the diet coke all at once.
dont they come in a rolled up tube of paper?
Yeah but they don't slide out of their packaging as good because it's so tight. Putting them in a rolled up sheet of paper works much better.
Like a boss
Crap... none of my friends like diet Coke
None of my friends drink soda. I'd love to find someone who's not a friend to do this to though. I may start carrying a mentos on a string just in case the opportunity presents itself.
