would've been better to see it on the Genesis.
Or the original Nintendo before the Super Nin...
There was no Mortal Kombat on NES, that I can remember at least.
That's true. I wasn't even paying attention to which game they were playing above. Super Nin started MK.
Technically Mortal Kombat started as an arcade machine and was ported to SNES and Genesis. I should know, I made a MAME and played MK on it nonstop :-P
What did you use for your MAME box? I have to get on Ebay and find myself a dirt cheap Xbox for mine.
I used an arcade cabinet and took an old PC and bolted it inside. I suppose you could use an xbox but a PC would probably be easier and better. It doesn't have to be an expensive computer, something you pick up for $50 off craigslist would be more than enough to run MAME.
The monitor was the original arcade cabinet monitor screen, which looked amazing for arcade emulation since it was a bit blurry so looked more real. I bought all the buttons and joysticks online somewhere. I used and I-PAC to connect the buttons/joysticks to the computer, I highly suggest it.
As for where to buy an arcade cabinet, I actually bought it off a friend so I don't really know. But I suspect craigslist would be the place to start.
That, is awesome and I am jealous. I'm going to use an original xbox, just because the controller maps to the controls VERY well if not perfectly for almost all the games on the ROMs I have. And then you can also make an option to have the green power ring to rotate colors lol.
yes ^-^ i love nintendo 64's :-D
Panel 11 should be that kid saying "Hey uncle Josh, where do you put the coal on that thing?" with a trollface.
