Ever had to use a manual tranny in a traffic jam? This basically just says Americans are smarter...
USA USA USA
anyone with half a brain can tell you standard is better. I seriously think patriotism is killing your brain cells. instead of saying usa usa or 'murica pick up a book.
First off, it seems as though you did not realize I was attempting to be funny. But I was. I actually read quite a bit. No hard feelings.
But I would take automatic transmission over manual any day. It's easier to use, especially when in traffic. Even with the difference in efficiency (which is changing), I'd still pay more money for gas in exchange for convenience. But then again, it's just my preference.
enjoy having to keep braking just to stand still infront of traffic lights. silly americans ;)
See that P? That stands for parking. So your winky face and your use of the word silly are moronic, when you are the one that is silly. (;
I suppose, if you want to change gears there. I guess manual is only really supperior when performance counts. They both have advantages/shortcomings in regular driving.
INCORRECT: The correct procedure for stopping at a red light is to use the neutral option represented by the ''N'', not parking. (;
Incorrect sir. Not on a hill. (;
And no one replied.... ahh, the smell of victory.
I always hold down the brake even in a manual trans. That way if someone bumps into me from behind I won't necessarily get pushed into traffic.
That "American" gear shifter is from a Volkswagen. Just saying.
Ha! I'm an American, and I have the top picture. Not just something LIKE the top picture; EXACTLY that picture. It's an Acura TL, not this current generation but the one before.
And I don't mind driving it in traffic at all.
Well shit if I had a car that nice I might not mind either lol!
What is that bottom thing?? I'm from the UK and have never seen one O_o
I'll stick to my normal gear stick which I struggle to use cause I'm a n00b driver.
It's an automatic transmission, so you don't have to worry about changing gears, just use gas and brake.
I run a five-speed Jetta in Iowa.
i have a mitsu ralliart with the auto sportshifter an a 5 speed tiburon. an i love driving the tiburon even if there is traffic.
you do realize you can choose which tranny you want, right? it's not always automatically automatic... I never drove an auto since my step dad only drives manual and i'm american.

The first one Looks like it's from a Volvo.
